Our exclusive prescreening at Palace Barracks for Alliance Francaise Members, marking the official opening of ticket sales for this year’s French Film Festival.
It was a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together and enjoy The Party’s Over! (Classe Moyenne) in a relaxed and lively atmosphere. The evening featured an opening speech by Jean-Philippe Bottin, Director of the Alliance Française, a guide through the special events by Culture Coordinator Pauline Ferté and a presentation of this year’s film lineup by Joe Hardwick, member of the AFB Committee and French cinema lecturer at UQ School of Languages and Cultures.

Our exclusive prescreening at Palace Barracks for Media and Partners was a fantastic night of film, conversation, and connection. Guests came together to watch The Party’s Over — a film that had us laughing, reflecting, and chatting long after the credits rolled. Big thanks to Le Bon Choix Bakery for the delicious treats that made the evening even sweeter. This gallery offers a little taste of the excitement building for the French Film Festival.
