French Choir Chorale française

CHANTEFIQUE is supported by Alliance Française and it is Brisbane's only French-singing choir. It is comprised of people of all ages with varying abilities in French. We are a friendly group, united by our love of music and our affection for French culture.

We sing at various events such as the French Film Festival, Bastille Day celebrations, the Beaujolais Nouveau and of course Christmas festivities. Our current repertoire embraces a diverse range of French classical ballads through to modern favourites.

We rehearse most Fridays at 4pm til 6pm. We meet at the St Francis of Assisi Church Hall (47 Dornoch Terrace, West End), after which we socialise with a glass of wine and nibbles and with sociable dinners from time to time.

We are always keen to welcome new members, especially male voices. If you are interested please contact their conductor Narelle Todman 0402075269.

To join us, you must be a member of the Alliance Française Brisbane. There is also a small fee payable to the Choir.
