A1 Elementary 1: Start your French journey here
This course is for beginners. Students will learn the vocabulary and language structures required to: greet others (Bonjour!), introduce yourself (Je m'appelle...) and someone else, give and ask for personal details (name, address, telephone number, age and nationality), count (un, deux, trois...) and use numbers, recite the alphabet, express likes (J'aime...) and dislikes (Je déteste...).

You will talk about your daily routine and hobbies (J'adore le jardinage!), inquire about and book accommodation (Allô Le Ritz? Bonjour, je voudrais une chambre...), describe your city and neighbourhood (J'habite à West End, à Brisbane, c'est très sympa.), ask for and give directions (Excusez-moi, où est le musée?).

You will go to the restaurant (Je voudrais des huîtres et du champagne s'il vous plaît), tell more about yourself (Ma famille, Mes habitudes...) ask for and give the time, organise and invite someone out, and talk about clothing (Vive la mode!). We will speak about food and drinks (croissant, vin, fromage...) and the places to go shopping.
