Voila! The Opening Night Gala for the 37th Alliance Francaise French Film Festival.
Live music filled the air as our guests entered the Palace Barracks foyer. After a red carpet moment, guests were invited to a glass of
wine, to mingle with the gorgeous city views as their backdrop and watch live painter, Dr. David Hinchliffe, former deputy-mayor work
his magic en plein air.
Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD, Patron of the Alliance Française de Brisbane introduced the festival before the beautiful film, Colours of Time. After the film, the afterparty commenced with DJ Orelee, an immaculate spread of cheese and the completed paintings, made only more beautiful after the viewing of the film.

Palace James Street Reception was equally well received. Brian Lorigan and Zoe Sheridan opened the night with a few speeches, and then guests enjoyed Colours of Time - glass of wine and Le Bon Choix's pastries in-hand.
