In this second course, students learn to talk about school life, hobbies, and personal descriptions. They practise key grammar such as avoir, simple adjectives, articles, basic present tense verbs, and question words. Vocabulary includes school subjects, classroom objects, appearance and personality, and free-time activities. Skills focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through short dialogues and simple descriptions.

In this unit, you will discover the exciting field of gastronomy. You’ll learn how to talk about studies and careers in the culinary world, discuss the important issue of food waste, and present famous chefs who have shaped the way we cook and eat today.
Along the way, you will strengthen your French by practising key grammar points: the passé récent to talk about things that just happened,
the imparfait to describe past habits and situations, and the pronoun en to replace quantities or expressions with de.
