The Alliance Française de Brisbane is looking to hire a motivated and experienced Education professional to join our team in 2026.

Responsabilities:
- Observe classes, assess teaching practices, and ensure high pedagogical standards.
- Review curricula, learning materials, and programs; propose improvements.
- Support teachers through guidance, feedback, and professional development workshops.
- Contribute to the development and revision of courses for adults and children.
- Coordinate educational projects with schools and support immersion programs.
- Organise and oversee DELF/DALF/TCF examination sessions and ensure compliance.
What we're looking for:
- C2 level in French is mandatory.
- Experience in Alliance Française, Institut Français or other french cultural and language center needed.
- Degree in Education, Curriculum Studies, Linguistics or a related field (Bachelor’s or higher).
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and educational evaluation.
- Proven ability to observe classes, assess teaching quality, and provide constructive pedagogical feedback.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting teachers, leading workshops, or contributing to program development is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with management, schools, and community partners.
- High level of professionalism, autonomy, and attention to detail.

Casual French language tutors
The Alliance Française de Brisbane is looking to hire a motivated and experienced French tutor to join its casual teaching team.
The selection criteria are as follows:
- Master in FLE or Diploma in FLE or a Teaching Degree or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience in teaching French to adults and/or children and teenagers
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest and skills in using multimedia tools and documents for teaching
- Familiar with the action based approach and the communicative approach
- Willingness to work within a team and communicate with the teaching team
- Willingness to promote the Alliance's courses and activities to students
- Interest and skills in developing resources and course curricula
- Current Australian working visa is necessary
- QLD Blue card is necessary
- Availability to teach on weekday evenings and on Saturday mornings is necessary
