June opens with a simple but essential reminder: the Alliance Française de Brisbane lives not only through its
classes, events and partnerships, but also through the community that carries its voice forward.
Every day, across our social media platforms — LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok — we share news, events, cultural highlights and moments from the life of the Alliance. You see these publications, but you can also help them travel further. A like, a comment, a share or a repost may seem like a small gesture, but it has a real impact. You are the ambassadors of our Alliance, and your support helps us broaden our audience, strengthen our visibility and create greater interest in French language and culture across Brisbane.
Session 3 is already just around the corner. Classes will begin on 13 July, and our teams are already on the starting blocks. Our website is also currently being redesigned and improved. If you are a student and log in with your personal details, you can already see a new “re-enrol” function, designed to make your next registration smoother, clearer and more convenient.
June will also offer two wonderful opportunities to come together at the Alliance. On 5 June at 5:00 pm, our World Environment Day event will invite participants to explore climate issues in a way that is both playful and festive. Our CineClub will return on 10 June at 6:00 pm with Les Malheurs de Sophie, Christophe Honoré’s adaptation of the beloved work by the Comtesse de Ségur.
In July, we will also be proud partners of two important events. On 10 and 11 July, Springboard Opera will present The Descent of Orpheus into the Underworld by Marc-Antoine Charpentier, a remarkable production featured on our website. And, of course, from 24 to 26 July, Le Festival will once again celebrate French culture, food, language and art in Brisbane.
Thank you, as always, for your loyalty, your enthusiasm and your precious support. We look forward to seeing many of you very soon at the Alliance and beyond.

Chers membres, chers amis,
