This workshop is designed to help French AB Initio students build confidence and fluency for their IB oral exam.

Over two 2-hour sessions, students will engage in structured speaking activities focusing on personal topics, everyday situations, and visual stimulus interpretation. Emphasis is placed on pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and expressing opinions clearly and spontaneously.

Through interactive pair and group tasks, students will gain practical tools and strategies to communicate effectively at a basic level in French.

Note: Week 1 and Week 2 cover different topics, feel free to join both, or just one.

General French course for 12 to 17-year-old beginners with about 80 hours French

General French course for 12 to 14 year old with about 140 hours of French (Year 9 - Year 10 equivalent)

• Express possibility and necessity
• French cinema
• Verbs: pouvoir (can), il faut + infinitives
• Formal questions

Pace: 1.25 hours twice a week over 10 weeks

In this 2-hour workshop, A2–B1 level teenagers will explore the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral through a virtual reality experience. With the help of guided activities, they will build vocabulary related to architecture, history, and French culture while practicing their speaking and listening skills. A fun and immersive way to improve their French and discover one of Paris’s most iconic landmarks!

Suitable for students of A2-B1 level (Intermediate/Upper Intermediate levels)
Pace: 2 hours over 1 day
