This year, as part of Francophonie Week (15-23 march 2026), science-fiction takes centre stage!

Let your imagination run wild and have a go at creating original pieces of writing in French.For two hours a week, we’ll explore the pleasure of writing together, sharing our stories and bringing imaginary worlds to life.
Above all, this workshop is above about having fun, creating and dreaming – while building vocabulary and gaining confidence in writing in a foreign language. 

This is an online class.

Pace: 2 hours per week over 4 weeks

This revision course is designed for learners who have completed Intermediate level with usor are currently at a B1 level and want to consolidate their French before moving on. It focuses on strengthening core grammar, expanding practical vocabulary, and improving fluency and accuracy in speaking and writing.

Students will review key B1 structures (past tenses, future forms, conditionals, pronouns, connectors), practise comprehension through authentic texts and audio, and develop confidence in everyday and professional communication. The course is ideal for refreshing knowledge, filling gaps, and gaining confidence before progressing to Upper Intermediate.

Pace: 2.5 hours per week over 10 weeks

In this interactive media course, you will improve your listening, conversation, and writing skills by watching news clips from TV5MONDE, the leading French TV channel in the world. This course is perfect for you if you would like to discover French-speaking media and boost your language skills using real-world sources. You will explore topics such as current events, history, pop culture, and more, all while sharpening your French.

In class, we’ll address questions such as:

• How do French media portray world events?
• What are the sentence structures and grammatical points used in news excerpts?
• How can you use these linguistic topics to improve your speaking skills?

Pace: 1.5 hours per week over 5 weeks

This 5-week course helps adult learners review and consolidate A2 French. Focus on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and writing through practical exercises and conversation. By the end, participants will communicate more confidently in everyday situations and be ready to progress to B1.
