This course is designed for IB French ab initio students who want to strengthen their skills and feel confident going into their exams.

It complements the IB curriculum with targeted practice across the key themes and assessment tasks. Students will build confidence in reading, writing, listening and speaking, with particular focus on vocabulary, essential text types and preparation for the Individual Oral.

Using engaging and carefully adapted authentic materials (videos, articles, songs and more), this course helps students consolidate their learning and approach their assessments with clarity and confidence.

General French course for 12 to 17-year-old beginners with no French knowledge
Prerequisite: None

Prerequisite: Imagine 1 - Unit 1

In this second course, students learn to talk about school life, hobbies, and personal descriptions. They practise key grammar such as avoir, simple adjectives, articles, basic present tense verbs, and question words. Vocabulary includes school subjects, classroom objects, appearance and personality, and free-time activities. Skills focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through short dialogues and simple descriptions.

Pace: 1.25 hours per week over 9 weeks

General French course for 12 to 14 year old beginners with about 40 hours of French
Prerequisite: Adosphère 1 - Unit 4
Text required: Adosphère 1 - Unit 5

General French course for 12 to 14 year old with about 110 hours of French (Year 9 - Year 10 equivalent)

General French course for 12 to 14 year old with about 150/200 hours French (Y10 - Y11 equivalent)

Welcome to the delicious world of food and cooking! 🍽️👨‍🍳

In this unit, you will discover the exciting field of gastronomy. You’ll learn how to talk about studies and careers in the culinary world, discuss the important issue of food waste, and present famous chefs who have shaped the way we cook and eat today.

Along the way, you will strengthen your French by practising key grammar points: the passé récent to talk about things that just happened, the imparfait to describe past habits and situations, and the pronoun en to replace quantities or expressions with de.

Pace: 1.25 hours per week over 9 weeks

This course is designed for Year 11  students who follow the ATAR curriculum and wish to boost their learning in order to achieve the best results!
The course is complementary to the school curriculum : new activities and documents will be used to practise and reinforce the skills and themes learned school. We use authentic class material from French TV, magazines and movies, carefully chosen and adapted by our educational team.
Pace: 1.25 hours per week over 9 weeks

This course is designed for Year 12  students who follow the ATAR curriculum and wish to boost their learning in order to achieve the best results!
The course is complementary to the school curriculum : new activities and documents will be used to practise and reinforce the skills and themes learned school. We use authentic class material from French TV, magazines and movies, carefully chosen and adapted by our educational team.
Pace: 1.25 hours per week over 9 weeks

This course is designed for IB French B Standard Level (SL) students who want to strengthen their skills and feel confident in their assessments.

It complements the IB SL curriculum with targeted practice on key themes, required text types and assessment criteria. Students will build confidence across reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a clear focus on communication, text analysis and preparation for the Individual Oral.

Using engaging and carefully selected authentic materials (videos, articles, podcasts and more), this course helps students refine their language skills and approach their exams with clarity and confidence.

Pace: 1.25 hours per week over 9 weeks

General French course for 12 to 17 year old with about 300/350 hours French

This course is designed to boost your confidence and adapt to your individual strengths and challenges, ensuring you get the support you deserve for your school studies. We'll dive deep into the topics you need most. Whether it's grammar, vocabulary, or conversation skills, this course will ensure you get the targeted revisions you require.

Pace: 2 hours per week over 9 weeks

For students who have received between 200 and 300 hours of French.
Text required: Nouvelle Génération B2

This course is designed to boost your confidence and adapt to your individual strengths and challenges, ensuring you get the support you deserve for your school studies. We'll dive deep into the topics you need most. Whether it's grammar, vocabulary, or conversation skills, this course will ensure you get the targeted revisions you require.

This class is for students who have had extensive exposure to the French language, either because they have attended a French speaking school or because they come from a French speaking family.
