for teachers of French.
Alliance française has offered a day of workshops during the two-day All Languages Event on 10 March 2017 facilitated through Independent Schools Queensland and Brisbane Catholic Education.
The Event is an annual teacher professional learning event and is attended by teachers of primary and secondary throughout the state.
QLD registered teachers of French currently teaching French can enrol *Conditions apply (Membership required)
in one French course* per year
and we will take care of the full
tuition fee !
The teacher will just have to pay for his/her membership and purchase the books (5% cheaper for members), if required.
This will provide the teacher with a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional development by allowing him/her to remain updated on French current affairs, and maintain and expand his/her French vocabulary through pratice with our native speakers. The teacher will also be able to liaise with other professionals who teach French and join the Brisbane French-speaking community.
We understand that the needs for training vary considerably from one teacher to another. That is why the teacher will need to sit a Placement test. One of our teachers will then suggest which class would be most appropriate.
Most classes run for 2 or 3 hours per week over 10 weeks but we also offer workshops on specific language skills during school holidays.
