As part of the celebrations for "Citizenship Day" in New Caledonia (24 September), the Delegation of New Caledonia in Australia is organising the 2023 edition of the "New Caledonia Film Festival", in partnership with the network of Alliances françaises in Australia, the Pacific Centre for International Encounters and Exchanges (CREIPAC), the Australian Cinémathèque at GOMA in Brisbane and the French Embassy in Canberra. Funded by the New Caledonian government, the New Caledonia Film Festival will run from 22 September to 1 October in seven Australian cities (Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Townsville and Melbourne).
