Save Our Oceans 

Alliance Française de Brisbane is delighted to support Save Our Oceans, a special evening of short documentary films organised by Culture Plus and People For Nature, celebrating the ocean and the artists, scientists and communities working to protect it. This event is free and open to all.  

What to Expect

This year's program, "Save Our Oceans," brings together a curated selection of thought-provoking short documentaries by leading French and Australian artists, with a total screening time of around one hour. Each film is introduced with a short presentation on the artist or organisation behind it, and the evening closes with a panel discussion bringing together ocean experts from across science, art, conservation and community action.

Program

• 5:00pm — Doors open. Enjoy a drink courtesy of Alliance Française de Brisbane and browse a fine art photography exhibition by French-Australian artist François Detaille.
• 6:00pm — Event starts. Welcome and introductions, film screening, and panel discussion.
