So you’ve decided you’d like to learn French. You’re an absolute beginner, and don’t know where to start. Elementary 1 is the course for
you! This course serves as a bienvenue to the French language. Throughout this course, you will discover the beauty of the French
language, and cover the basics, such as introducing yourself and others (Bonjour, je m’appelle Jean), spelling and counting (un,
deux, trois…),
and general greetings and politeness (Salut, s’il vous plait, merci beaucoup). You’ll also learn how to ask a question, how to
communicate, and explain why you are learning French.
This course is designed for complete beginners of French, and no prior knowledge is necessary. After completing this course, you cancontinue
your French journey and move on to Elementary 2!

You’re making excellent progress in your French journey so far, and in Upper Elementary 4 you’ll dive deep into
communication and relationships! In this course, you’ll learn how to describe people (Il est très optimiste), report information
through indirect speech (Notre professeur nous dit qu’il faut étudier tous les jours), and express disagreement (Je ne suis
pas du tout d’accord).
You will also talk about relationships, convince people (Vous ne le regretterez pas!) and describe your state of mind. Finally,
you’ll practice understanding and giving instructions (Vous faites la vaisselle et vous nettoyez la cuisine), and have some fun
with writing a recipe!
This course is designed for students who have completed Upper Elementary 3 or who have been assessed prior to enrolling.

In Intermediate 5, it’s time to get down to business! This course focuses on the theme of study and work so you will be fully equipped to
discuss your career in French. You’ll learn the terms for the different types of qualifications (un diplôme, une licence, un master),
speak about your experience and career path (J’ai un long parcours). You’ll also be able to express your motivations (Il est
très important pour moi de mettre en pratique mes connaissances)
as well as give and understand advice (Il faut être positif et motivé). You’ll evaluate your own personal and professional skills (Je
fais un bilan de compétences, en prenant en compte toutes mes expériences).
This course is designed for students who have completed Intermediate 4 or who have been assessed prior to enrolling.

raise awareness and give recommendations (Nous visons 100% de plastiques recyclés d’ici 5 ans). You will also practise expressing
