What is Beaujolais Nouveau?

Beaujolais Nouveau Day is an annual event which is marked in the French calendar on the third Thursday in November.

As per French tradition, wine is released at 12:01am just weeks after the wine's grapes have been harvested.
The event is so beloved it has become a global sensation and is now held internationally from Australia to Japan to the United States.

About Peter Scudamore Smith

Peter will introduce you to Beaujolais during the event.
He holds the prestigious Master of Wine award—recognised as the highest achievement in the global wine community—and is the second person in Australia to be awarded this honour.

Peter travels regularly to French wine regions and has many producer relationships.
Hear him describe fine French wines with passion and knowledge and don't miss your chance to be wowed and amazed by Peter's knowledge and even wow others by what you learn!
