French Cuisine Fridays - 12 Oct - Members

Bretagne (Brittany in English) not to be mistaken with Great Britain, occupies a large peninsula in the north-west of France.

Surrounded by the sea, it offers a wide range of fish and seafood. However, it would be a mistake to reduce Britton gastronomy to a giant seafood platter. Traditional and more authentic cooking comes from the countryside where pork and cereals have always been two essential components of the local cuisine. Fruits and vegetables represent another major part of the diet and, in Brittany, the quality of the ingredients that go into a dish has always been more important than any complicated techniques or fancy sauces that might be applied to them.

French Cuisine Friday is an excellent way learn about  the rich history behind some of your favourite french dishes that have transcended generations. If you want to expand your culinary knowledge and taste the delicious food made by the talented Anne-Sophie Dubois, then this workshop is perfect for you!

Presented in English.

Places are limited to 40 spots. Price includes tasting and a glass of wine on entry.
