UPPER ELEMENTARY 1
Congratulations, you’ve made it to the next stage of your learning journey: Upper Elementary! Upper Elementary 1 will focus on travel and
take you on a virtual trip to France. You’ll learn how to make comparisons (Il y a plus de soleil à Brisbane qu’à Paris), organise a
tour (Il faut visiter la Bretagne!), understand information on accommodation (Quel hébergement préférez-vous?), and
describe interesting places (Le café des chats est un lieu atypique). You will use all of these skills to plan your ideal
imaginary language immersion trip!
This course is designed for students who have completed Elementary 6 or who have been assessed prior to enrolling.

UPPER ELEMENTARY 2
You’ve cleared the hurdle of Upper Elementary 1, and you’re well on your way to mastering the French language! Upper Elementary 2 will focus
on employment, life experience, and sport. You’ll learn how to look for a job and understand a job offer (Félicitations, bienvenue dans
l’équipe!),
as well as how to post a job ad as a business owner (Nous cherchons quelqu’un de motivé). Furthermore, you’ll be able to talk about
your experiences (Je suis allé au zoo avec mes amis), and interpret advice and security instructions (Après être entré
dans l’appartement, rappelle-toi de verrouiller la porte).
Finally, you’ll learn how to plan a sporting weekend (Nous jouerons au foot, au tennis, et nous irons nager), and how to describe
an unusual trip you’ve had.

UPPER ELEMENTARY 4
You’re making excellent progress in your French journey so far, and in Upper Elementary 4 you’ll dive deep into
communication and relationships! In this course, you’ll learn how to describe people (Il est très optimiste), report information
through indirect speech (Notre professeur nous dit qu’il faut étudier tous les jours), and express disagreement (Je ne suis
pas du tout d’accord).
You will also talk about relationships, convince people (Vous ne le regretterez pas!) and describe your state of mind. Finally,
you’ll practice understanding and giving instructions (Vous faites la vaisselle et vous nettoyez la cuisine), and have some fun
with writing a recipe!

UPPER ELEMENTARY 6
Improve your French with real life situations shared by French, francophone and francophile people around the world. In this course, you will learn how to defend a cause (Quels sont les moyens à mettre en place pour protéger la nature?), ask and give an opinion (Je pense que c'est une excellente idée!), understand and react to news and current affairs (Tout le monde doit faire un effort.) make suggestions, recommendations (Il faudrait améliorer les transports publics.), express wishes and hopes (Je souhaite que toute ma famille fasse plus attention à l'environnement.) and discuss literature and a book that you like (C'est un roman applaudi par la critique et par le public.)
