Dead Cats Don't Bounce is a new comedy play set in Brisbane and France starring four of Queensland's best actors - Robert Coleby, Steven Grives, Chris Betts and Helen Howard. Dead Cats was written by Simon Alroe, writer of The Slippery Slope, which played to capacity houses at the Judith Wright Centre.

Ben and Martin have built Suncollect into a jewel in the Smart State crown. But the death of their one time backpacking companion Harry plunges Ben into an identity crisis which starts the corporate raiders circling. From beyond the grave, hidden truths begin to unravel. Who was to blame for what happened to Harry? Was Claire, the enigmatic French arts student Ben's soulmate? Or did he fall in love with a part of himself he didn't know existed? Ben's attempts to rekindle his romance with Claire see him discover some startling truths about what really happened on that backpacking tour of France so many years ago.
