Chef Alain Fabrègues presents his latest cookbook "Degustation"
on Tuesday 24 August.


Chef Alain is the owner and Executive Chef of one of Australia’s finest restaurants Loose Box.
He also holds the Meilleurs Ouviers de France: Cuisine Restauration,
a title bestowed by the President of France.

To launch his first book 'Degustation', we invite you and your guests to experience
a selection of signature dishes, matched with wine at the elegant Privé 249.
Sofitel Brisbane Central will be offering a special price of $149 including book
for guests who are members of Alliance Française to partake in Degustation Dinner
this Tuesday 24th August (regular price $199).

Chef Alain will also be hosting a Market Tour and Gourmet Interactive Breakfast in the morning,
or you can come and meet him at his Champagne Book Signing in the evening.

Market Tour and Gourmet Interactive Breakfast ~ Thyme2


Chef Alain invites you to enjoy a private guided tour of the Brisbane Markets to discover the finest fresh local produce. The Brisbane Markets are Brisbane’s leading market facility, open to the public every weekend and recently every Wednesday night for the twilight markets.

Guests will be treated to an insight into product selection, seasonality and versatility of the local produce. You will also learn valuable market shopping tricks and the elements needed to create a delicious meal.

Following the tour, guests are invited to savour an interactive
breakfast buffet in Thyme2 Restaurant with Chef Alain.
This is an opportunity to learn the secrets of being a culinary architect and appreciate the Brisbane Markets from a wholesale perspective.
