GOING TO FRANCE

    Les Musées

    Le Musée du Quai Branly
    (Quai Branly Museum)

This museum features indigenous art, cultures and civilizations from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas.
It is located within a walking distance from the Eiffel tower and on the beautiful shores of the Seine River.

    Le Musée du Louvre

60,600 square meters (652,000 sq ft) of exhibition space that displays 35,000 works of art drawn from a collection of more than 380,000 objects.

    Le Musee d’Orsay

It is housed in the former railway station, the Gare d'Orsay.

It holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1915, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography, and is probably best known for its extensive collection of impressionist masterpieces by popular painters such as Monet and Renoir.

    Le Centre George Pompidou
    (Pompidou Centre)

The cultural and artistic centre named after Georges Pompidou, built in the old Beaubourg area, has sparked many lively debates about its daring and strange architecture (designed by architects Rogers, Piano and Franchini).
