Slang

Our last video is from the very interesting group SLANG, coming from Brussels! They are a trio which describes itself as "Ethno-Coltranian-Rock" with each member bringing their musical ideas and background to the group. This produces a mixture of jazz, funk, world music and rock. Let's watch their video:"Make it Happen", from their Album: "Its on the Way" which was released in 2005.

Bahamars

Babamars started in year 2003 during a Dance & Electro music project, before becoming gradually a band.
Its electro pop-rock music is influenced by 70’s and 80’s artists and groups, like The Beatles, The Beastie Boys, Beck, Pixies and New Order.
A first album, “Whatever happened to all our pioneers?”, was released in June 2004. Their second album, “Surprising Twists”, was released in 2007 and they are currently working on their third.
Our video comes from the album "Surprising Twists" and is called "The Core"

I hope you enjoyed these appetizers. Our next 5 programs will focus on particular aspects of French music, Rock, Jazz, and Hip Hop... Don't miss our next show which will be devoted to female French artists - from rock to lounge.

A bientôt!
