Let's celebrate music!!!
Brisbane City Council, in partnership with Alliance Française and Brisbane Marketing presented the third annual Fête de la Musique Brisbane on Monday 21st June 2010.
Currently held in 350 cities in the world, Fête de la Musique is now the largest international live music event. Throughout Brisbane, people played or listened to all styles of music, from classical to electronic, jazz and folk, traditional, rock, rap and pop music.
Once again this year, Fête de la Musique was a huge success with more than 1 300 artists who performed that day in 70 venues all over Brisbane!
Performances were held on the CityCats, on the Green cabs, but also on public places as parks, squares, malls and libraries,... places where music is not expected!
On this beautiful day there was a huge turn out: the artists put on a great show and were cheered on by an amazed crowd!
