Brisbane French Festival
Alliance Française de Brisbane is proud to be a part of the Brisbane French Festival 2010 on July 17th 2010, at the Cultural Forecourt of SouthBank.
Several major French companies, organizations and representatives, including the Alliance Française, have joined together to create one spectacular celebration of French culture and its presence in Brisbane.
From 10am to 10pm on the first Saturday after Bastille Day, the Brisbane French Festival will offer a fabulous range of opportunities to enjoy a truly French experience!
50 French exhibitors will present their various products: enjoy baguette, fine cheese, tatsy wine, savoury crepes, delicious foie gras, and more traditional French specialities!

Join us for a lot of activities!
Main Stage
Join various activities including a designated children’s area which will feature games and activities to amuse, entertain and educate your children about France.
Participate in our great raffle: there are many prizes to be won including 2 flights tickets for Paris, Reunion and Noumea! Win Dior and Guerlain's gift bags, vouchers,. and more!!! Tickets are available at the Alliance Française de Brisbane and during the festival too.
Learn how to cook French food with a cooking demonstration by the Black Pearl Epicure cooking school! Enjoy a French cancan dancing show as well as a burlesque show and so much more!
You could also watch fashion parades created by Pia Du Pradal, Ekyog, Le Classic Boutique and Hilde Heim designers!
From 5:30pm, let's dance at the bal populaire: a family friendly celebration of fabulous French food, great company and chic music! Join the dance floor with a lot of various French music: Valse, Bal Musette, Rock, Swing,...!
Roving Entertainment
Enjoy various performances held all day along in the venue: actors as Old world style French Madame and the French Spies, as weel as French themed stilt-walkers and
Strictly Strings performers.
You could also meet caricaturists who will design one of a kind portrait of you!
You can also be involved at the festival by volunteering!
