The library is an excellent way to improve your language skills and discover French culture

Membership of Alliance Française de Brisbane gives you access to our library. If you are a member you can activate your library record by contacting us.

The library has a collection of books, videos, DVDs and magazines. All books and videos are free to borrow, and DVDs are rented at $6 per week. While the most recent copy of magazines must remain within the library, previous issues are available to borrow.

You can browse the collection on Level 2, or search using our online catalogue.

The online catalogue is the centre of a growing national network that will share Alliance resources throughout Australia. As part of this initiative, Alliance Française de Brisbane will mail books and videos to any member of any Alliance Française in Australia. Contact us for further details.

To search for items held at the Brisbane library, choose to the Advanced Search feature, and use the branch menu to select Brisbane.

Natalie MacDonald, as a patron of the library, has funded the purchase of all of the shortlisted titles for the 2006 Grand Prix du roman de l’Académie française.
