Classes in Schools

Get Alliance Française to come to your school or childcare to make it special and open your children's perspectives into life!

Whether you already teach French and wish to reinforce and extend the children's proficiency, or you just want to offer them the chance of an earlier start in learning languages, Alliance can organise classes at your place, following the same format as the “Flying Teachers” system.

At your request, our teachers – native speakers, experienced and specially trained for this type of program – will impart French lessons directly into your school/center which will give it a special multicultural tinge as well as a highly valued educational vocation.

The Alliance Française proposes a 10-week term, to be adapted to the QLD school holiday dates that will normally consist of 1x1-hour session per week or possibly of 2x1-hour sessions per week. For children aged 7 and more, a book Alex et Zoé gives structure to the class. Please click here to discover the progression and the content of the classes. These programs are designed for groups of a minimum of 6 children and a maximum of 12 children. Before starting the session, we will come and meet you to found out about your exact needs and meet the families of the children to pass on all the information required. Please contact Claire if you are interested.

Parents are welcome to the first class so that they can get to know the teacher and his teaching practices. We recommend the parents to read the booklet Help them learn to support your child's learning.

Alliance also will be happy to come to any of your Multicultural day to deliver special workshops.
