Alliance Française de Brisbane is the longest experienced French teaching centre in Brisbane - Alliance Francaise de Brisbane has taught French since 1926 - that can offer your child a brighter future. Alliance Française de Brisbane offers the natural way to experience French language and culture from the earliest age to the teenage years; it gives classes and workshops all year round, in its premises, in schools, or even in private houses. Alliance runs small structured classes tailored for the children's needs and their specific age group and where fun is a rule of thumb. The classes are run by qualified teachers and blue card holders.
You can now enrol in 2012 January Summer Course or Term1 2012.
Our French classes are in line with the levels of the Common European Framework of References for Languages. The CEFRL is a practical tool for setting clear standards to be attained at successive stages of learning and provides a basis for the mutual recognition of international language qualifications.
Our Kids and Teens classes can be completed by an international diploma.
Alliance Française is an examination Centre for Delf Prim and Delf Junior examinations, which are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language and are internationally recognised. We recommend your children aged 8 to 17 years old to take these examinations that are also in line with the CEFRL.
Alliance also invites the children to take part into various activities especially organised for them; these give substance to the French they receive. On a larger scale being the meeting point for lovers of the French language, Alliance Française is the best place to encounter motivated people to share one's French experience with. This way, the students can feel they are part of a network that makes French real...and not only learnt! Finally, Alliance is supported by a larger and worldwide network that can guide the students overseas and help them step towards cultural difference and understanding.

Last but not least Alliance is linking with schools by organising the famous French competitions, highlights of the academic school year. They have been running for the last 30 years. They reinforce and extend the students knowledge and give them a chance to win interesting prizes, best of which is a travel and stay in New Caledonia. Schools are welcome to Alliance as well as their teachers who can join classes for free.
